p2cms: no video playback
I have a client that we gave a hard drive with all of their footage. With the footage I gave them an explanation of how to use P2cms to view the footage. They downloaded the program and are attempting to view the footage on a macbook pro. The client is telling me that all of the thumbnails are populating properly but that they only get audio when they try to play any of the clips. They get a white screen and no video.
Here are the clients macbook pro specs:
OS 10.4.10
2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Quicktime v. 7.2They have restarted, reinstalled, and I have walked through exactly how I would watch the footage with them and it seems as though they are doing everything right.
Any ideas?

Ok, we figured it out. On install for p2cms it says:
necessary for the use of p2 hd
– apple final cut pro 5.1.4They don’t have final cut.
Anybody have a work around? They have a hard drive full of p2 footage. They have macs and pcs. They have no editing software. Is there a free or cheap program. All they want to do is view the footage. Then everybody can move on and begin to enjoy life again.
