P2 XMF conversion to something I can use.
Hello,
Discreet Smoke editor here, we are looking at getting a P2 camera and I was wondering the best way to get the P2 video into my Discreet Smoke on SGI?
What is a good converter of the P2 .xmf wrapped DVCPRO to say Quicktime, .sgi .mov, or at worst, file sequence?
And don’t say get a FCP, or Avid becasue it’s not happening. 🙂

It’s my understanding that Focus already offers an MXF file converter program that should do exactly what you want.
