P2 w/ FCS 3 & 10.6?
I’m sorry if this has been asked, but I couldn’t seem to locate any discussion on this.
Is anyone using P2 successfully with both FCS 3 and 10.6? Are you able to use the camera through firewire and USB to offload the clips to a machine with 10.6? Initially, we heard reports that people couldn’t load P2 clips under 10.6 and that there weren’t any drivers from Panasonic yet. Since 6 months has passed, has all this been solved? I ask because we’re getting another new machine and it’ll have 10.6 on it by default…

FCS and Snow Leopard work well together. It’s the third party hardware that is not supported. Duel Adapter.
Offloading via the camera is the least expensive way to offload P2 cards with SL.

There are now snow leopard drivers for the 5 card readers, yes.
