P2 Viewer software
On Panasonic’s site, they indicate that there is Windows software called “P2 Viewer” that allows you to download cards from a PCMCIA slot on a PC. I’ll be renting an HVX-200 this week, and want to install the software. Where can I get it?

There is a cd that comes with the HVX that has the software that will do this. Canopus Broadcast lets you download the P2 cards from the camera. and will bring in the audio and video combined. So far I haven’t found a way to do this with the PCMCIA slot.
Not sure about Apple Or Avid.

So, on a Windows PC with this software that comes with the camera, you need to import the sound and video separately???

I’m sorry, did I assume wrong that if you don’t have the Canopus software, and just the software provided by Panasonic, that you won’t get the sound and picture together?
