  P2 Varicam Scene Files

  Panasonic is finally offering scene files for the HPX2700/3700. I don’t know anybody that actually uses pre-programmed scene files, but it’s an easy way to show clients a preview of a stylized look that could be attained in post.

  There are advantages to be had by doing the look in-camera, but clients are often hesitant to commit themselves to a radical look.

  A couple of the files are good baseline settings for proper color points using a Chroma Du Monde chart, such as “Digineg” and “Tweaker”.
