what is the transfer time of 4Gig P2 to hard disk ?

Unknown at this time. The current P2 readers are based on USB-2 which I’ve seen run at up to 20 MB/second on Mac and 30 on a PC. That would move one gigabyte within 1-2 minutes.

Around 4 minutes via USB2 and on a fast storage (raid or scsi) for 4 GB P2 card.

So I guess this means that when shooting DVCProHD you have to have at least three cards?
