P2 Transfer into Final Cut
I’ve been trying for the past couple days to import P2 footage, shot on a Panasonic HVX camera, into Final Cut. I downloaded the PCDrive Mac driver from here:
https://library.creativecow.net/articles/ross_shane/p2_workflow.phpBut for some reason, when I go to the Import option in Final Cut, I don’t see an option that says Import Panasonic P2 Card. Just wondering if anyone knows what I’m doing wrong, or if I need to install anything else. I’ve downloaded a couple drivers already, but they’re for XDcam.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That’s the OLD tutorial. I have a newer one for FCP 6. Guess I need to update it again for FCP 7…but this basically is how it’s done now.
