    Hey!

I’m shooting on a 200A tomorrow and transferring to a Macbook Pro for editing. After doing some research i’ve realised there is no P2CMS software for snow leopard. So I ask what is the best method to safely transfer the P2 footage to my mac? I’ve heard there are a lot of bad ways which can cause corrupt files.

    Thanks!

NO need for P2CMS. Just plug in the camera, WRITE PROTECT THE CARD, go into MCR mode, then press the MCR button again for 3 seconds to mount the card. Then backup the entire card contents to an external hard drive. Separate folder for each card, UNIQUELY named, with no !@#$%^&*() symbols.

What Shane says will work, but there’s no verify. If you want verify, buy ShotPut Pro.

I hope P2CMS comes out for Snow soon.

Has anyone with Snow Leopard tried using one of the cheap Duel Adaptor card readers by rebooting with Leopard OS on another drive??
