Ok I have P2 store and have been dumping cards to the store unit. How do I tell which cards are the new folders on the P2 store when each folder is labeled “NO NAME” ? It would be nice if a date or incremental # was there so I could ID each folder. I do not want to keep transfering the same card(s) data that I already transferd, but I have no way on knowing which one went over. Right now I find a video file name and use a search to see if that file has been transfered, and by the process of elimation, I find the new “NO NAME” folder(s) to transfer..any other ideas? I still am keeping the data on the drive as another back-up.

You have got to get yourself P2 Genie. It is almost necessary and @ $33 US it’s not unattainable.

I have P2 Genie, but it does not tell you which folders are which on the P2 store, you have to ingest first, and you may ingest the same folder 2x.

I think it assumes that once you transfer the p2 material, you empty the p2 store.

    Well that must be it.

That’s not to say that P2 Genie shouldn’t be fixed, but the p2 store is an intermediary until you can get the footage to your main backup or hard drive system. Once I transfer it off of the p2 store, I then delete the p2 store to make way for more footage.
