Obvious problem: my powerbook doesn’t have USB 2.0 so it is obviously slow.
Confusing problem: P2 Store won’t mount on my MacBook Pro with USB 2.0, even after I’ve installed the P2PCCard Install.pkg

I’ve read that the driver is a PowerPC kext and that’s why the MacBook Pro doesn’t like it.

So does anyone have any news or updates on how to use the MacBook Pro with the P2 Store?

    Thanks,
    Russ

    From another board:

The P2 Store needs to be rebooted to work in Mac mode. They put out some sort of technical advisory bulletin to describe the situation.

Here’s what you’re supposed to do:
Plug in the USB cable to the Mac and the P2 Store.
Make sure the USB light lights up.
Press and hold down the Cancel button, the Battery Level indicator, and the Hard Disk Drive capacity indicator simultaneously, and hold ’em down for five seconds.

The USB LED light should change color. It should go orange for Mac, and green for Windows.

I love it when Customers can start answering the questions correctly, thanks Chris.

We have bulletin posted on the P2 store’s product page on the Panasonic site:
    https://catalog2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ModelDetail?storeId=11201&catalogId=13051&itemId=94262&catGroupId=14595&surfModel=AJ-PCS060G&displayTab=R

Click on the Engineering bullitin at the bottom of the page.
