P2 reader and viewer problems
We just purchased a Panasonic AG-HP370 camera as well as a Panasonic AJ-PCD2 card reader. When I installed the card reader into our computer I was not sure what driver to use. The CD that came with the reader shows an AJ-PCD20 but not a plain 2, so I used the 20.
We have two problems. Our P2 Viewer program will show a Virtual P2 card once the contents of the P2 card are transferred to the hard drive, but will not find the P2 card in the card reader. The second problem is we get no audio when playing a clip through the viewer program. The audio shows on the meter within the viewer program, just not hearable. When put on a timeline the audio plays fine.

Sounds like you are on a PC. Just a guess. Installing the correct driver does make a difference.
