P2-Preview unsupported from archive drive

January 22, 2010 at 4:58 pmWe also just got this message on one clip of one card of one day of one drive (you get the idea). This is are second P2 project and we have shot hundreds of hours of P2 and this is the first data loss situation. We only use letters and numbers when naming the drives folders etc. We tried just ingesting without logging and it of course did not work. We also opened in CMS and received the message “no image”. The other clips on the card function normally so it is interesting as an anomaly. I wonder if I could send the card contents to Panasonic for analysis?

March 18, 2010 at 5:37 amHey, HEY!! I suddenly had the “Preview” problem, did a search, found this thread about the “symbol” format in the drive name, changed the name, and PRESTO! I can see preview again!
You guys are good! Thanks for solving my problem without having to bother a soul!
