P2 mxfs into FCP 5.0.4

5.0.4 should be OK…
I worked for many months on that build.
If you have the camera insert the P2 card
and see if they will play.
Your camera has to be set to what the clips were
shot at.
How are you loading the P2 card?

Not sure if I can get my hands on the camera.

The files were copied across from the P2 cards on a CardBus PC laptop. Each card copied individially and then transferred via a FAT32 HDD to the Mac.
