I have a hard drive which has MXF files in it from the P2 cards. I have Vegas Pro 10 and I am trying to drag it into the timeline, but it does not want to open on there.

    What do I do?

    thanks

    Check out Raylight
    https://dvfilm.com/raylight/

You have to pay for it but it seems to be the most popular solution to your issue. Simply install it, and you will be able to import those files into the timeline.

So.. Everyone has told me that Sony Vegas recognizes MXF files. I just downloaded the latest trial version of SV and it does not read them.
    Any suggestions?

If they come from a P2 camera, you need Raylight.
If not, where did they come from?
