P2 looking interlaced
I shot with the HVX at 48fps and after transferring to FCP the footage looks interlaced. I thought it might be my Mac Book Pro monitor but if not, then what can I do to fix it. The camera is NTSC. I was told that there is a way to maximize the resolution of the footage in FCP but I also don’t know how to do that. Any input would be great.

It looks interlaced FCP on the canvas or output to an HD monitor? And send over a still if you would.

Check that your field dominance is set to none on both the file in the browser and the time line you are using. If set to “not set” on either it will default to the standard for your input settings. You should be able to control/right click on the item in the field dominance column in the browser to change these settings.
