I shot some a timelapse on my HPX500. The entire clip is about 6.5 minutes long. I am using FCP “log and transfer” but keep getting an error with the clip. It does say “spanned” next to the clip and I do have the rest of the clip loaded in the volume. There are also many other clips on the volume that processed without any problems.

I am able to use P2 Log Pro to convert the clips to quicktimes without any trouble.

Does any one know what causes this issue in “log and transfer” and how to correct or work around it?

Go into the L&T preferences and uncheck the option to “Remove duplicate frame & Advanced pulldown”.

That does the trick. Thanks. I had that problem once before and forgot about that setting.

Where are the Log and Transfer Prefs located?

    Thanks,

In the log and transfer window. Look for the “gear” menu icon. It is just above the list of files on the left side. In the pop down menu you will find the preferences.
