I have a 4GB P2 card that gives me an “Incompatible Card” warning when inserted into the HVX200. I cannot format it – it doesn’t show up at all. When inserted into my G4 it crashes the computer immediately. It worked fine until a PA ejected it from the G4 without unmounting it first. Any suggestions…? Thanks!

I had this happen just yesterday, tried to format it using the P2 manager on my laptop and it got an error. Then when I treid to use it in the HVX I had the same incompatible issue. To fix this problem , put your HVX in VCR mode(the thumbnail mode comes on)then hit menu. You will get a sub menu in there, there is a format option that will fix the problem, If you take the manual look under the using the P2 card section it will show you exactly how to do this. I’m at home the HVX is at the office thats as far as I can bring you without it in front of me. Hope this helps.
