P2 Import to FCP speeding up to hyper fast-why?
I shot with the HVX-200 and P2 Cards. Two cameras each with two 16GB P2 cards. I shot 720p.
When I imported the cards from camera 1, everything was fine going thru FCP P2 Import. I did the same for camera 2’s cards and all the footage is in super fast hyper speed.
I’ve tried this with two Macs, with various settings from a P2 card reader and copying the P2 cards to a hard drive. Each and every time, its the same result.
I tried going firewire from the camera directly into Final Cut Pro and it came out all pixilated; even with the cards that worked correctly.
I don’t get it; any thoughts?

Uncheck REMOVE PULLDOWN from the L&T preferences…
