P2 import problem
I have clip that was recorded onto a P2 card that will play in the FCP log and transfer window and in the camera but the clip will not import. The clip will playback in the camera but it has a ! icon on it and the clip after it on the card is has an X and ! icons on it. All of the other clips on the card are fine. When the clip was being recorded on location, the camera had it’s AC power supply disconnected which caused the camera to shut down during recording. How can I save this clip?

Put the card back into the camera, and use the REPAIR FUNCTION in the camera to fix the clip. If this is already downloaded onto a drive, you need to get the whole card backup onto a card again and use the repair function.
Or you can use HD Log to repair the clip. Not free.
