  P2 Import in FCP 5.1.4

  Whenever i insert a P2 drive in the AJ-PCD20 card reader i get the disk insertion error when i try to initialize it it doesnt format the drive while the machine gets hanged , tried with another drive still the same prob.

  I am using Macpro 2.66ghz, OS x 10.4.9 , quicktime 7.3, 3gb ram, internally 1.5tb striped disks, FCP 5.1.4

  Any solutions welcome
