I have P2 footage that I log and transferred into FCP7. I edited the video and now that I am done, I need to convert the footage and final project to work in the best codec for regular quicktime that a person WITHOUT FCP or Quicktime Pro, can play the footage on. The current codec is: DVCPRO HD (720p60), Linear PCM, Timecode, HD (1-1-1). I have MPEG Streamclip and/or Compressor. What is the best setting, without loosing quality to convert the footage to so someone WITHOUT FCP can play it on regular quicktime (NOT PRO)? Please be specific.

    Thanks

If the other person does not need to edit your footage, export a self contained DVCPro HD movie for yourself and use that file in Compressor to encode to an h.264.
