P2 files into AE7?
Getting into Panasonic’s P2 system (very slick) & would like to know how to whether P2 files can be imported into AE7 without going via FCP?
Any help would be appreciated.G5 dual 2.7, OS10.4.4, 4G RAM
Media100 HD 10.1.3, AE 7
2.6 terra RAID -

I think whatever system you are on you will have to unwrap it to make a file that AE will read. PPro will not read the native .mxf file and I don’t think AE will either.
So if using FCP just import in the P2 and use the file that FCP creates.
