I’ve downloaded the Panasonic P2 contents Manager application and installed in on a current 12-core MacPro. Although it does access the card or a copy of the contents folder copied to HDD and displays the clips as thumbnails without issue, it fails to play the clips in the viewer when double clicked. I get audio but no video. The clips are AVC-Intra 100 and the Quicktime codec for AVC-Intra has been downloaded and installed. The AVC-Intra component is in the Quicktime folder. This Mac is running Snow Leopard (10.6.8) and does have Final Cut Studio 3 installed.

I also installed the application on an older MacPro running the same FCP studio version, but running Leopard and Quicktime 7.6. The clips play fine on that machine.
    Ideas?

Found the issue. I thought I had installed the AVC-Intra Quicktime component. I hadn’t. A quick download and install of the component fixed the playback issues. Pilot error on this one.
