    I’m one of the few people still editing on 844x. I’m thinking about purchasing a new Panasonic HPX 500 camera. Does anybody here know if there any potential codec problems with acquiring video from the P2 cards? For the time being I’ll be shooting in standard DVC pro format.

    Kinda doubt there’s any direct support. You’d need to offload first with another program like Final Cut Pro or perhaps P2 CMS.
