    That would be called the AJ-PCD20, Firewire 800 as one of its connections.

    Wiped my drive, reinstalled Tiger… and the cards mount with no issue. Definitely a pain in the ass, but the only solution. Thanks Shane.

    Hi Johnatan,

    Now that you have re installed, MAKE a Bootable back up OS onto an external hard drive, they are dirt cheap and will save your bacon when things go west in the OS.
    I use Carbon copy cloner and it can install only the altered files in a Bcak up, that just takes a few minutes to restore an OS that is misbehaving.

    Hi Johnathon,
    If your running Leopard OS, make sure you format your Spare OS drive as “GUID” not mac extended ect.
    it’s a choice in Disk utility.
