We are experiencing problems with our P2 cards (A series or R series)
apparently when we go to record on them in DVC 25 an error message pops up and prevents us from recording on them, the message says the card was incompatible. But when we moved the cards into slot 3 and 4 we had no problem recording on them.
We are using the HPX 500 cams and reformat the cards in either the camera or on the Panasonic format station on a PC before we record on them.

    Does anyone have any answers?
    Thanks for the help

Is your firmware up to date?

I’m going to update to 1.09 tomorrow and see what happens, Panasonic tells me the slot could be defective. I highly doubt that.
    Thanks for the guidance!

I just updated the firmware to 1.09 and to no avail!
Card slots 1 & 2 will not read any of my cards, saying they’re incompatible. Slots 3 and 4 are fine, very strange. Not sure where to go from here, I’m thinking I may have to get Panasonic involved.
    Thanks
