Im not sure this is the correct forum to post this, but I thought someone might know an answer. My client would like a disc image of my p2 card used on his shoot. He has recommended ShotPut. It looks like a cool program, but I am not interested in purchasing a $100 program for this one job. Is it something that would come in handy later? Also is their a way to do this through freeware or some part of final cut studio?

    Thanks in advance.

I have also been informed that if I don’t want to use ShotPut, that I can just provide them with a same as source Quicktime output with a drag and drop duplicate copy of the P2 card as a backup, which in my mind is fairly easy. That would be just exporting the footage out in .mov and copying the drive that shows up on my desktop when i connect my camera if I am not mistaken.
