Posted by Stuart Cohen on July 31, 2011 at 6:50 amHas anyone had any success at finding an adaptor/converter for plugging a P2 card into the Expresscard slot of a Macbook Pro?

July 31, 2011 at 7:55 amThere was the Duel System Adapter…but they just sorta dropped out of sight, failed to get support for SNow Leopard on their products, and really don’t support the product anymore.
Now, with the express slot being a rare thing on laptops…only the 17″ models have it…there are other alternatives. This one is USB…and as fast as Express34 or PCMCIA direct… and only $350.

July 31, 2011 at 2:52 pmI have an option that is very expensive. I use the PCD35 P2 card reader with my 17″ Macbook Pro.
I use the express 34 adapter that came with my MXO 2 to connect.
For me time is money. I can offload a full 64 gb card in under 18 minutes.
Investment has paid off.Steve Eisen
