P2 and Mac Pro
hi all,
i hope i’m not in the wrong forum.
Anyhow, i’ve been reading about how to import footage from a P2 card on macBookPro into FCP6, however i don’t see much on how to do it with a MacPro.
Anyone have any suggestions?

It’s the same actually, you need a card reader and any Mac running FCP… You can use the camera as the reader too.

Duel Adapter is the company that makes the adapter. It works like a champ. I always copy the complete content (will exact file structure and last clip file) to a hard drive from the card and then import via Log and Transfer into FCP.

The Duel Adapter is for the MacBOOK Pro…not the MacPro. that is what he is asking.

Panasonic has a 5 bay P2 reader but it is about $2K
