P2 and Mac Pro
Posted by Mike Lister on February 17, 2008 at 10:16 pmhi all,
i hope i’m not in the wrong forum.
Anyhow, i’ve been reading about how to import footage from a P2 card on macBookPro into FCP6, however i don’t see much on how to do it with a MacPro.
Anyone have any suggestions?
thanks in advance

February 17, 2008 at 10:28 pmIt’s the same actually, you need a card reader and any Mac running FCP… You can use the camera as the reader too.

February 18, 2008 at 2:00 amDuel Adapter is the company that makes the adapter. It works like a champ. I always copy the complete content (will exact file structure and last clip file) to a hard drive from the card and then import via Log and Transfer into FCP.

Panasonic has a 5 bay P2 reader but it is about $2K
