  P2 720-24PN with AJA Hardware acceleration

  Is anyone utilizing the hardware acceleration of a Kona card to get better performance of their DVCPro HD timelines in Final Cut?
  We are shooting HVX200 720 24PN (native) and wondered what settings/codec choices need to be made to do this.
  We have a Kona 2 card. If we use a Kona codec – which one should we use, and what will it be “doing” to the 24PN in order for it to take advantage of the hardware.
