  Oyen Digital Mobius 5-bay RAID enclosure…changing RAID sets and methods

  Hi all.

  I have the aforementioned RAID cage, which is populated with 5 2TB drives in a RAID-5 configuration.

  What I’d like to do is remove the RAID set, reset the RAID switches on the back to JBOD, and put 5 fresh drives into the unit for some archiving work. When I’m done, I’d like to reset the RAID switches back to RAID-5 mode, re-insert the RAID set, and (hopefully) fire it back up in RAID-5 mode.

  Anyone have experience doing this, either with this particular model, or any other brand similar?
