Just don’t expect it to greatly improve the Premiere workflow. NVMe is lightning fast but Premiere doesn’t fully take advantage of that speed. You’re still at the mercy of your overall mobo PCIe lanes, CPU, GPU thruput.

Coming from a Mac Pro D700 Thunderbolt2 RAIDs, I welcome anything the same or faster.

Update:

Installed the Sonnet and EVO Plus in the new Mac Pro.
It a fun install and amazed at the custom parts Apple used on this beast.

I’m getting around 5200mb (average) both ways with this new set up.
