Banging my head against the wall trying to figure out how to do something I thought would be simple (story of my life)

I want a text animation on scale that goes makes each word of a sentence scale up from 50% to 110% and then settling at 100%, like the words were overshooting their mark. Is there anyway to do this with text animator? I also need it to go from 0% to 100% in opacity.

I figured out how to do all of this except for the “overshoot” part.

    Thanks in advance,
    Kevin

I believe there is a preset text animation that does this somewhat that you can then take and tweak. Remember that you need to have a few different animators to do what you want, but it can be done. Check out the presets and experiment with them.

How about 3 keyframes for scale? For example:

    At frame 1, keyframe 50%
    At frame 20, keyframe 110%
    At frame 30, keyframe 100%

Maybe easy ease the last two keyframes?

Well I figured it out after viewing Aharon Rabinowitz’s Tutorials on Text Animators. Seems a little complex for something I thought would be simple, but I learned a lot figuring it out.

Here is the animation preset if anybody wants it.
