Overmodulation ws what my camera told me..
Hi folks, so here’s a ‘q’ about crackly noise popping that one gets when audio levels in a select area are too high for the camera mic to deal with. I am using a cheaper model Samsung (one without manual audio levelling >:O) and when recording a band, it made the audio sound like trash on playback. Within Audition or one of its plug-ins, is there a tool that could help with removing some of that high decible garbage? Should I have my camera on 12 bit recording as opposed to 16 bit?

If you send me a minute or so sample I may be able to head you in the right direction … Typically if digital goes into saturation it’s over with but lets see just what you have … E-mail to loganonestudio@aol.com …….. WILLIE
