I want to add an overlay like they have at the bottom of news reports when they are interviewing someone saying who they are. Any idea where I can download these?

These are called lower-thirds. You can build your own using Vegas Pro or you can download Vegas Production Assistant from the Sony Creative Website and use their 30 day trial program, which includes a lower-thirds generator. It comes with a few nifty ones that look decent. You should learn to composite your own though. One of the easiest ways is to grab a generated media gradient (black to transparent) and drop it over your interview. Then you’d go into the resize/crop tool which you’d need to use to crop the gradient media down to size. Then you’d lay a text over that on a new track above it. Size your text to fit the cropped gradient or whichever media you use. This might be to much to follow. I’d suggest google lower-thirds tutorial and see what happens. Good luck.
