Overlay Edit in between layers
Is there a way to do an overlay edit n between layers or does the edit always go on top?
Kind of a pain when you’re working with 700 layers…

The only way I’ve figured a workaround is to use a comp as a holding place, drop the edit in it, copy the layer and use CMD-OPT-V to paste it exactly where I want it.

You can always duplicate a layer, select it, select your reference edit in the Project window, hold Alt and drop over the duplicate layer to replace it.
