    Overlapping objects shadow Issue

    Hi all
    I have an issue with overlapping objects.
    To make a chain with circles (like olympic logo) I duplicated the object and placed it in same place. After that I erased some part of the top object. But this technique is not enough; as I need to add a shadow for the circles.

    Can anyone suggest a solution?
