I’m wondering whether I can use my Kona card to output a simple still image through SDI. I would output graphics to be cut in amongst mulitcam coverage and displayed on a big screen. I realise that this probably isn’t an intended use, but does anyone know of how it could be done without going into FCP/Ae? This needs to be a simple, stable, still image output, no bells and whistles.

    Thanks in advance.

Open up the AJA Control Panel. Click on the “Control” tab and change the Default Video Output to “Test Pattern”. Then under the Test Pattern option below that, click the button and change it to “Load File…” Pick your file and your all set
