    Sorry about that.

You will need to export your program using compressor to MPEG-2. Then import that into DVDSP and create your DVD. It is a fairly streamlined process, but let us know if you have any problems along the way.

Start by opening the FCP manual and reading the DVDSP parts.
Then open the DVDSP manual and read the FCP parts.

Export out of FCP using reference. Using self-contained or MPEG2 encoding are not necessary unless you have specific reasons for using those methods. You don’t or you wouldn’t be asking this question. this way.

Import the reference into DVDSP, drop it onto the timeline and push the burn button. What happens after that is between you and the manuals. You have lots of choices you can make. Or not.

While the process is streamlined it’s not simple at all and there are many ways to screw it up.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
