Output to dsr-11 with TC, simplevideoout x? Where’d it go?
Posted by Bret Williams on May 26, 2011 at 5:31 pmI need to output a DV seq to my DSR-11 with Matching sequence TC. I used to use simplevideoout. Seems like the intel version is simplevideoout x, but I can’t find it anywhere.

It’s right there were I linked to. Unzip the file and it’s in there. Tried it myself this morning.

🙂 Why stop at 6?

May 26, 2011 at 7:35 pmWow. That is the most unassuming link. Maybe just because it’s at the top. I looked all over that page 10 times and just thought it was a support doc. Thanks! I have to output some commercials for local insertion and it’s just so cheesy to have them start at some odd number and have the tape start at 000 instead 59:…
I suppose this is my fault. In a thread recently I mentioned not having to output to tape for years. But hey, if it jinxed me a little work I’m happy to mention that I haven’t had a 6 figure project in a looooong time!

May 26, 2011 at 7:36 pmIt came back? Nice.
But really…DV masters? Who does that in this HD age? That’s like the LOWEST quality format ever. Next to VHS. Oh, and 3/4″

May 26, 2011 at 7:38 pmLocal comcast insertion. I created the spots 1080i cuz I just know I’ll be getting that “can we have an HD version too” call.
