Output to Betacam using Blackmagic HD
Has anyone used this configuration to output to betacam (SP/Digital) from FCP 5 ? Using a Blackmagic HD. The guy who want me to do this have encountered sync problems when trying to lock timecode of FCP with beta. He found that putting black with timecode, then output with FCP could work. Any thoughts ?

That is the way to do it… black the tape starting with the timecode you want to match… or change the timeline’s timecode to match the tape…
