    Output tab greyed out

    Hello all
    I am trying to Output my project from FCP 5.0.2 to Digibeta through my HDLink pro card, but in my Prefpane within the Declink video connction my output tab is greyed out and I cannot enable any output ssettings. And I don’t understand why. ANy help would be appreciated.

    Specs
    G5 Dual 2 GHz, 2.5 GB ram, OX 10.4.2

    Hi Arwa,

    Please open the DeckLink PrefPane in the System Preferences. You should see something that says “Preference Settings for your DeckLink”. Is there anything after the word “DeckLink” or does it just end there? For example does it say “Preference Settings for your DeckLink HD”?

    I upgraded my drivers and that fixed the greyed out tab, so now it just says “All otputs active”.

    Hi Arwa,

    That is good news and thanks for letting us know. I’m not aware of a bug in the older drivers and suspect some component of the DeckLink drivers might have been missing from your system, possibly as a result of updating QuickTime or Final Cut Pro. It is great that all outputs are working again 🙂
