Output problems
Hi having problems outputting video from my blackmagic decklink card to the digibeta. I can output sound but not picture. I can capture video, control the deck but no picture. I tried running a cable straight from the blackmagic to the d-beta cutting out the patching bay but no luck could one of my setttings in FCP or the D-Beta be the issue. Thx

Hi Liam,
Are you able to get a preview out when just editing on the timeline? DOes the Video Desktop show up when you’re just in the OS X Finder?
Are you using a PowerMac G5 with PCI (not PCI-X) slots? They are not supported and you’ll not get video output.

Hey Kristian
I opened the blackmagic deck control and tried to lay to tape that way but that didn’t work but when i came back to FPC it was working again. Maybe the deck control kicked it back to life. I’m on a g5 with PCI and no i was not able to get a preview from the timeline.

What software & driver versions are you using as this sounds very similar to the problem I’m having.
