Output from ultibridge Extrmee DVI to Dell Monitor from After Effects frozen
Hello,
I am using Blackmagic Multibridge Extreme and the DVI out of the Multibridge to a Dell 24″ LCD screen. In Adobe After Effects I am working with a 1280×720 25 project in the Blackmagic video preview settings in After Effects I selected 1280×720 60 as if I use 50 I get a pink garbled screen on my display to the DELL monitor from the Multibridge. 60hz video preivew seems to work fine.
I am doing the ram preview and scrubing the after effects timeline, I have show interactions etc in the video settings. I start to see my work area on the screen then all of the sudden the DELL gets a frozen display of the after efects project which is outputting. Even though my screen on the pc I am using to design on works perfectly. I am using After Effects 7 pro with upgrade on Windows XP with Blackmagic Multibridge 6.1.2 software.
Do anyone have any ideas so I can get the previews back to the Dell?

This is probably because 720p50 does not work on the Dell display.
Sounds like you’re trying to send a 720p50 signal out via the 720p60 component which is why you’re having issues.

Hello,
I shot on the JVC HD100U in 720p mode 25/50, if I go into After Effects and create a new composition using the presets HDTV 720p/25.
I get a garbled view if I go to the Blackmagic under the video preivew settings and have it set to the 50 out as I get a garbled pink screen onto the DELL moinitor via the DVI out on the Multibridge Extreme to the DELL unit.
Is they anyway i can work correctly on the Dell? As it seems to like the 60hz out.
