    Hi
    I am working on project for a website, where in the videos will be available for download only and not streaming.

    The footage was shot in HDV. I captured it as Apple Pro Res 1440*1080. I am done with the editing and now ready to take the output.

    The final output needs to have a good balance between file-size and quality.

    I am thinking of following options
    .WMV or .mp4 (using h264) or .avi(using DIVX)

    So which one is the best suited for my needs?
    Shall I use ‘MPEGStreamclip’/third party software for these conversions?

    Since the footage is in 1440*1080 resoution, I intend to resize it to something smaller (Let’s say by a facor of 3 i.e 480*360). What’s the best way to do it?

    When I use “export movie using quicktime conversion” the aspect ratio gets affected. How to avoid this?
