I have completed my opus and need to clear the drives…I have to cut other people’s pieces to pay for it. Ahem.

I need to remove all of the files related to this project, saving masters and timelines for archive purposes/onlines.

What is the best way to do this? Remove files, I mean. I remember where most source/master material is, but I was wondering before I go hunting whether there is a cleaner, more central method I could use.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I usually blow away all the media (digitized tapes)
did you number the tapes, so that you have a reel log?
I back up the FCP Project and any related graphic elements
    and music to DVD.
    Hope this helps

    mr2005-

As it happens, everything is pretty organized- Tapes are #’d in the project and the telecine log and I am presently burning all project-related data to DVD, along with music, etc.

Based on your post, it looks like all is well here.

    Thanks for replying,
