Does anyone know why when I set my outpoint (apple O), it is one frame to the right of where my playhead is?

Is there a way to change this setting, so that the outpoint is automatically set exactly to the frame where my playhead is?

Thanks. I appreciate any insight and info you are able to share

    Not this again.

We had a KILLER thread last month that went into this. look in the archives…and look for a LOOOOOONG thread. When you mark an out it INCLUDES the frame you see. That is why it is to the right of the frame. If it was to the left, it wouldn’t include that frame…which is how tape based editors work. But all NLEs that I know of include the frame you are parked on, thus the out point indicator is on the right of the frame.
