Activity Forums Adobe After Effects outline on text that is not wanted.

    You cant tell after this pic was compressed but the text has a grey outline that shouldnt be there.

    Have you made sure that in your text palette that the border is turned off?

    DO as Tom suggested. In the future, if you can’t see what you’ve uploaded then zoom into the image or scale stuff up so that folks know what you’re talking about.

    You can upload images directly to the COW and embed or link to them in your posts. I highly recommend doing that in the future for a couple of reasons:

    -Most image/file sharing sites are blocked on corporate networks.

    -Better (as in less) compression.

    The Image Upload button is the third from the right in the small formatting strip above the message box.

    you could always try putting the coloured layer above the text layer so it obscures the text.
