Ok, I’m seeing everyone is haveing the same problem I had that I posted about a few weeks agao – now it’s come back to haunt me again and have isolated what it is but not the cause nor the solution – I’m hoping somebody can.

So, finished a video in an HDV sequence with HDV footage, looks and sounds great – export to .WMV using quciktime flip4 mac and the audio is out of sync. If I create a .mov same problem.

Here’s the catch, in an SD project sequence with DVCam footage -all the exports wrok perfectly.

Even if I take HDV footage and place it in an SD sequnce the export works great – so…. the Finalcut export won’t work if I’m working in HDV!

Now, everyone runa way figure that puppy out?
    I’m going nuts!

NOT everyone has this problem… my students made at LEAST 50 HDV projects this semester and didn’t have a whit of this sort of problem…

That said, you need to be running FCP 5.1.4 I’d suggest… FCP HD really doesn’t suport HDV at all.
