Out of memory while rendering
Hi there,
I’m rendering a composition in AE CS3 and keep seeing my RAM usage going up during the rendering til the soft crashes when the RAM is full.
I tried disk volume overflow but no result. Why is AE using the RAM to render on the disk?I’ve seen a threat on creative cow about this issue but I can’t find the secret preferences thing they’re talking about.
I have 2GB RAM on Vista 32.

Go to your memory and cache settings and try changing the two numbers to 20 and 20 when rendering this. It won’t overload your ram and probably won’t crash.

Unfortunatly I get other errors. I can’t even render more than 2 frames 🙁
I’m trying to render HD at 1280*720 using H.264 codec. -
